Chillio IPTV: Gone From Apple TV, Still on Android TV

What Chillio IPTV is

Chillio is a player. It shows nothing until you add a source, and its Google Play listing says plainly that it “does not provide or host any content”. You bring the channels: an Xtream Codes login, an M3U or M3U8 playlist, or media on a WebDAV or FTP server. The listing describes a guide with live channel previews, favorites and continue watching, multiview for several channels at once, and pause and catch-up when your source provides them.

The publisher is Lumos Labs LLC, whose site is chillio.app. Chillio is free with no ads or watermarks, and optional premium upgrades unlock extra customization. We have not run Chillio ourselves; every feature here is from its store listing.

Is Chillio still on the Apple TV App Store?

No. On October 27, 2026we looked up Chillio IPTV Smart Player Pro (App Store ID 6478813450) through Apple's public lookup in the US, UK, Canadian, French, German and Australian stores, and every one returned no result; the US store page returned a 404. According to the app-tracking site AppBrain, as shown in search results, the app was removed on August 9, 2026. Neither Apple nor the developer has given a reason that we could find.

Some guides published before then still tell you to search the Apple TV App Store for Chillio, so the search finds nothing. One trap: an App Store app now called simply “Chillio”, from Miami Logic LLC, is a home-cleaning planner, not an IPTV player. Do not buy it expecting live TV.

If Chillio is already installed on your Apple TV, we could not confirm whether it keeps working. A removed app receives no further updates from the App Store, so plan to move to a player that is still listed.

How to check whether an IPTV app is still on the App Store

Search the App Store on your Apple TV or iPhone for the exact app name and check the developer line under it. If the developer you expect is missing, or a different app has taken the name, the original has been pulled or renamed. A guide that links to a store page returning “not found” is out of date.

Chillio on Android TV

Chillio is still listed on Google Play, but only for Android TV. The listing says it is “optimized exclusively for Android TV devices” and “not intended for phones or tablets”.

On an Android TV or Google TV box, Chillio installs from the Play Store like any other player. Our IPTV on Android TV guide covers the other players that run there.

Should you switch to Android TV to keep Chillio?

Only if you already liked Chillio enough to change hardware. A Google TV device that installs Play Store apps, such as the Walmart onn 4K Pro or the Google TV Streamer, runs Chillio, and both also run TiviMate, a popular Android TV player. What to use on Apple TV instead

Three tvOS players are still on the Apple TV App Store and take the same kind of login Chillio did. Smarters Player Lite, the official Smarters app, suits most households, GSE Smart IPTV Pro suits people with several playlists, and IPTVX is a free player with iCloud sync.

Watch out for look-alike player apps

Search the App Store for “IPTV Smarters” and you get a dozen apps with nearly the same name, most from sellers that have nothing to do with the Smarters developer. The genuine app is Smarters Player Lite, and the developer line under it reads WHMCS SMARTERS; an app called “IPTV Smarters Pro” from any other seller is not it. The same check applies to Chillio's own name, now used by an unrelated cleaning planner. An IPTV player holds your login, so install it only from the developer you meant to choose.

Moving your playlist from Chillio

Your channels were never inside Chillio; they come from your provider's login, so moving takes a few minutes. Find the server URL, username and password, or the M3U link, that your provider sent you, install the new player, choose the same login type and enter the details. Favorites and layout settings do not carry over, but the channels and guide do.
