Who writes the guides

The Apollo Group TV team writes and maintains every page on this site, and the guides carry the byline "Apollo Group TV" rather than the name of one person. Technical guides draw on Ryan Fernandez, PhD, a media systems researcher with a PhD in Computer Science from New York University.

We name only real people, with their consent, and we never invent a writer, a reviewer or a customer.

Who reviews a page before it is published

The site owner reviews new pages and significant changes before they go live. Each change also has to pass automated checks before it can be deployed: commercial statements must match the records we keep for them, banned claims are rejected, and every internal link and page date is verified.

Apollo Group TV sells the IPTV service it writes about. These guides are not independent journalism, and we do not present them as such.

How we use sources

• Facts about how a technology works are linked to the source they come from, on the page that uses them.
• Third-party prices are taken from that provider's own published pricing and carry the date they were checked.
• Where something cannot be measured, the page says so rather than guessing a figure.

What we do not publish

• Reviews, ratings or testimonials we cannot tie to a real customer and their permission.
• Self-served star-rating markup.
• Statements that any IPTV service, including ours, is legal or licensed. The law is covered separately in our guide to IPTV and the law.

Corrections

If something on this site is wrong or out of date, email contact@apollogroupiptv.com, call +1 (254) 989-5701, or use the contact page. Tell us the page and what you think is wrong.

We check every report. When a page is corrected, the fix goes into the same change as the underlying data, so it cannot drift back, and the page's updated date changes.

Changes to this policy
