What each market was tested against
The stress test column is the fixture we streamed end to end while counting re-buffers — deliberately the heaviest live slot in that country, because that is when servers fail. The incumbent column is what the guide prices IPTV against locally.

Local prices are approximate conversions from each store’s billing currency and move with exchange rates. Every provider is substantially cheaper on a 6, 12 or 24-month term — the country guides list the full ladder.
Why the ranking changes between countries
The sports rights are national
A provider that carries the full Sky Sports and TNT ladder for the UK may have nothing usable for a Süper Lig derby or a Saturday-night NHL doubleheader. Sport is the single most common reason people subscribe, and it is the least portable part of any channel list.
National free-to-air channels are the honesty test
Padding a channel count with dead entries is trivial. Checking whether SVT1, TVP1, Globo or Las Estrellas actually load is not, and it separates a real service from a reseller with a spreadsheet.
EPG and language handling vary wildly
A guide that populates perfectly in English can arrive empty or mis-mapped on the same provider's Nordic or Turkish channel groups. That is a daily annoyance, not a technicality.
The competition sets the value bar
The same $19-equivalent monthly price reads differently against Foxtel in Australia, Canal+ in France and Claro tv+ in Brazil. Value is relative to what the local incumbent charges for the same sport.
Frequently asked questions
Does the best IPTV service change from country to country?
Yes, and that is the whole reason these guides are split by market. The eight services we test are the same everywhere, but the ranking is not. A provider wins a market by carrying that country's national channels, holding a stable picture through that country's heaviest live sports slot, populating the EPG in the right language, and pricing sensibly against the local incumbent. A service that tops the table in the UK can finish mid-pack in Brazil because it never carries Premiere or SporTV properly.
How many countries do you cover?
21 markets across Europe, North America, South America and Oceania — including a French-language edition of the France guide. Each one is a full ranking of the same eight services, re-scored against local channels, local sport and local pricing.
Which country guide should I read if mine is not listed?
Read the guide for the country whose channels you actually want. Subscriptions are not geographically locked the way a cable contract is, so someone in Ireland is generally best served by the UK guide, and someone in Austria by the Germany guide. If you mainly watch international sport rather than domestic channels, the general best IPTV service page ranks the eight without any local weighting.
Are the prices in these guides in my local currency?
The stores bill in their own currency — mostly GBP and USD. Every country guide converts the entry price into the local currency at an approximate rate and marks it with a ≈ symbol, so you can compare against what you currently pay a domestic provider without doing the maths. The figure your card is charged is the store's native price.
What exactly did you test in each market?
Six things, identically in every country: peak-time reliability on the heaviest local sports fixture, whether the advertised national channels actually load, whether 4K is genuine rather than upscaled HD, whether the 7-day EPG and catch-up populate in the right language, how fast support replies to a real setup question, and what the plans work out at per month in local currency.
